Private Lessons are offered for students of all-ages to study voice, piano, acting, theory, and composition.
Our studio’s teaching approach is supportive, fun-filled, and driven for success. We match each student’s musical tastes and interests with appropriate material to challenge them, and strive to bring out their best.
Students from our studio have: received much acclaim, scholarships, and awards at various festivals and competitions; have won the National Music Festival; and on multiple occasions, students have received medals and awards for achieving the highest grades on a provincial and/or national level in Conservatory Canada music exams.
Our teachers are active performers in the community, and so are our students. Our students can be seen on stages and screens in just about any musical, production, or TV show produced here in St. John’s.
While of course we have students who pursue all fields upon graduation, we proudly have a high ratio that choose to professionally pursue the performing arts.
Students from our studio have gone on to study at schools such as Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Music, National Theatre School of Canada, Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Performance Program, Randolph Academy of Performing Arts, Ryerson Theatre School, and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (United Kingdom). One of our students, has just received a scholarship of $100 000 to study at the world-famous Circle in the Square Theatre School (New York City); a program that only accepts 12-15 students annually and has trained such talent as Kevin Bacon, Idina Menzel, and Lady Gaga.

During weather closures, students are offered the choice of an online lesson, or an in-person rescheduled lesson at a later date.
Students are permitted 2 lesson cancellations per year that will be made up. Further cancellations will be made up at the discretion of the teacher.
